Tour by Luna Agency
This trip focuses on the amazing nature that the Slovenian Alps have to offer.
In the morning we set for Planica, a place known for hosting the ski flying competition. This will be followed by a hike, full of picturesque landscapes in a glacial valley of Tamar, where we will also have a well-deserved drink in a wooden cabin.
After that we will chill at one of the nature's wonders - a tiny lake that keeps a temperature above freezing even in the ice-cold winter conditions. It is known for its exceptional colour and also for being a spring of the longest river in Slovenia, Sava. The place is one of the most breathtaking sights in Slovenia and on top of that hidden from the masses.
Next we will stroll perhaps the only true alpine village in Slovenia, the village of Kranjska Gora. It is best known for its ski resort which also hosts the yearly "Pokal Vitranc" ski race.
Last, but definitely not least, we will see the lake of Jasna, whose name literally translates as "clear". It is a charming place surrounded by high peaks and is passed by a road that leads to the highest mountain pass in Slovenia.
We tend not to forget about empty stomachs, so to wrap up the day, we will go for a lunch to a local ecological farm.
P.S. For the more adventurous and especially brave travellers, a daring zip-line from the ski jump is also available.
